AI Privacy Policy

This AI Privacy Policy explains how AI-powered features in fixED Development apps handle your data. It supplements our main Privacy Policy.
What AI Features Do
Some of our apps use third-party AI services (such as large language model APIs) to generate personalized content - for example, turning a short note into more polished, emotional text, or producing suggestions. AI features are always optional and clearly labeled in the app.
What Data Is Shared, and When
Data is only sent to an AI provider when you actively use an AI feature. At that point, the specific input required for the feature is transmitted - for example, the text you typed and the relevant selections you made. The exact data shared depends on the feature and is limited to what is necessary to fulfill your request.
- Text: the words you choose to run through the AI feature.
- Photos: only shared with an AI service if the feature explicitly requires it for content generation. Otherwise, photos remain stored locally on your device.
- No hidden collection: we do not silently send your journal, library, or personal data to AI services in the background.
How Data Is Transmitted
All data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Depending on the app's architecture, requests may be sent from the app directly to the AI service, or routed through our secure server. When the app communicates directly with the AI service, that service may receive your device's IP address as a standard part of the HTTPS connection.
How the AI Provider Uses Your Data
The AI service processes your input solely to generate the requested result. In accordance with our providers' API data-usage policies:
- Data submitted via the API is not used to train the provider's AI models.
- Data is retained only for a short period (typically up to 30 days) for abuse monitoring, after which it is deleted.
Personal Information
We do not send personally identifiable information - such as your real name, email address, or phone number - to the AI service unless you voluntarily include it in your input. We recommend avoiding sensitive personal information in AI interactions.
Automated Decisions
Our AI features generate content to assist you; they do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. You remain in control and are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before relying on it.
Your Control & Rights
You choose whether to use AI features. If you never invoke them, no content is sent to any AI provider. Free usage limits and any premium AI access are described in the app. The rights and choices described in our main Privacy Policy - including for users in the EU/EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) - apply equally to data processed through AI features.
Changes
We may update this AI Privacy Policy as our features or providers evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
